I just finished the ending, and it’s terrible. I finished reading it in Spanish.
The protagonist never meets his ex-girlfriend again, and his friend who gave him advice doesn’t appear either. The guy who stole his girlfriend barely shows up, but he’s never punished by the law, and the victims are still left in the dark.
The protagonist’s ex never finds out that she was secretly recorded and that the video got leaked online. The protagonist never reunites with her or confronts her.
The girl from the swimming class who liked the protagonist never gets the chance to reveal her feelings either. Instead, some random guy suddenly appears for her at the end. Meanwhile, the protagonist’s ex simply leaves the country to live abroad.
It didn’t feel like a proper ending at all, especially considering they were together for 10 years. There’s no confrontation, no emotional closure, no grieving process. I thought that, at the very least, she would cry over losing him in the end, but none of that happens. They just throw in a timeskip and that’s it.
